Thank you to SEATC for allowing me the opportunity to judge their Breed Club Open Show, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks also to the exhibitors for their entries and allowing me to go over their lovely Airedales.

Beginners D/B 1 Hiltons' Touessroks Queen Of Hearts (B). 6 months old, good eye & ear. Moderate length of neck into level topline, tail on top, good bend of stifle, perhaps carrying a fraction too much weight today. In good coat & moved well.

PD 1 Lee's Jolliver Devil Rides Out To Stargus. Just a day short of his 1st birthday. Lovely puppy full of Airedale spirit. Good length of skull, excellent eye & ear carriage, good length of neck, well laid shoulders, level topline, tail on top, well muscled in rear. Moved with drive & purpose but a little loose in front at the moment. Super coat & condition.

JD 1 Pickerings' Jolliver Dave Ja Vu. Very similar to litter brother in previous class. Lovely boy to go over. Super head, good eye & ear. Good length of neck, straight front, level topline, good tail set. Would like a little more body, but that may come with age. In good coat & condition. Moved out well front & back. RBD & BPD.

ND 1 Blackburn's Lumosadie The Fire Bird. 22 months old, good to go over. Good head, neat eye & ear. In very good condition, well muscled, good topline with tail on top, neat feet. Moved well with good drive.

LD 1 Hacker & Jenkins' Muliebrity Blue Beret At Sherifs. I judged him at 13 months at a Breed Open Show, awarding him RBIS and now at 2.5 years he has matured into a lovely dog. Full of terrier expression, well balanced skull and foreface, good ear carriage & eye. Long muscular neck, straight front, very good angulation, level topline with tail bang on top. Moved very well front & back with super drive from the rear. Super upstanding dog. BD & BIS. 2 Turners' Crillee Carry On The Legend. What a stunning boy, has everything going for him. Super head, eye & ear. Lovely neck, shoulder placement & topline all creating a lovely outline. Well muscled & in great coat & condition. Rear movement let him down today.

PB 1 Lee's Jolliver Joy Ride To Stargus. Very feminine young bitch of almost 12 months. Well balanced head, excellent eye & ear. Lovely neck into well laid shoulder, good spring of rib, level topline, tail on top. In tiptop condition, well muscled & moved well both ways. Beautifully presented & with great ring presence. BPB & BPIS. 2 Rust's Jokyl Songbird. Taking everything in her stride on her debut at just 6 months. Lovely head & eye, ears well placed, good neck, straight front, level topline with good tail set. In good coat & condition. Moved well for one so young. 3 Richardson's Airechien Savanna.

NB 1 Hiltons' Touessroks Queen Of Hearts. Repeat. PGB 1 Blackburn's Lumosadie Scarlet Phoenix. Well put together bitch. Super head, excellent ear placement, neat eye. Good length of neck, ribs & lovely front, level topline with tail on top, good bend of stifle. Moved beautifully round the ring. In good coat & condition. RBB. 2 Richardson's Muliebrity Ripples With Airechien. Lovely bitch. Neat head with good eye & ear. Long neck in to good shoulders, level back with tail on top. Moved well & in good coat & condition. I just preferred the overall balance of 1. 3 Du Toit's Bellamunro Royal Pied Piper.

LB 1 Rust's Jokyl Power Lady. I judged her at 9 months, she has certainly come on since then. A super bitch with an excellent head. Lovely dark eye, great ear carriage. Lovely neck & shoulder, ribs well sprung. In great coat & condition, well muscled & very good angulation. Moved well. BB & RBIS. 2 Turners' Crillee Cool Wishes. Lovely 6.5 years old bitch. Good head & expression, good neck, level topline, good tail set. In good coat & condition. Moved with drive. 3 Du Toit's Crillee Carry On Baby Be Mine With Bellamunro.

OB 1 Hacker & Jenkins' Sherifs Blue Angel. Upstanding bitch with lots to like. Lovely head & expression. Good length of neck, level topline, well sprung ribs. In good coat & condition. Moved well but just lacked sparkle today. 2 Stanciu's Aire Alpha Heaven's Harmony De Airedor (Imp Rom). Good head & ear, level topline & good set on. Moved OK. Elaine Johnstone Memorial Stakes (D/B) 1 Lumosadie Scarlet Phoenix. 2 Bellamunro Royal Pied Piper. Good head, eye & ear. Level topline & good tail set. Up to size & perhaps a little heavy today. Moved OK. 3 Crillee Carry on Baby Be Mine With Bellamunro.
